Senior Interior Designer, Residential, Renowned Studio, LondonSummary of Senior Interior Designer Role A bespoke high-end residential studio is seeking a talented and proven Senior Interior Designer to work on residential projects. Outstanding and confident client-facing skills are a must, as well as proficiency in technical elements of the design process. The opportunity to work with a renowned name in the industry, in a highly supportive and dynamic environment, with flexible and hybrid working and the opportunity for international travel.Senior Interior Designer Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Design Management Team to shape the creative direction of Studio projects.
  • Conduct design research and guide concept development, from sourcing mood images to gathering site-specific information.
  • Spearhead the determination of material choices for Studio projects, conducting thorough research and providing samples for evaluation.
  • Explore and cultivate relationships with new suppliers and manufacturers, staying informed about innovative materials and products.
  • Uphold Studio Stylistic Design Standards throughout the design process and manage FF&E project costs.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, leveraging expertise in design timelines and deliverables across all Studio phases.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK.
Skills Necessary for this Senior Interior Designer Role
  • Demonstrate confidence and excellence in presentation and client facing elements of the role.
  • Strong management experience, inspiring and delegating more junior designers.
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing work of exceptional quality.
  • Proficient in conveying ideas in three dimensions, including strong sketching abilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering comprehensive design packages. Proven track record in crafting compelling moods, FF&E style choices, and schematic boards, both in physical and digital formats.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is essential for this role.
  • Knowledge and 6+ years’ experience in high residential interior design highly desirable.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design.
