- Handling a variety of high value freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
- Working with minimal supervision whilst supporting the development of less experienced members of the team as needed.
- Receiving instructions and dealing with client queries over the phone and in person.
- Providing expert legal advice to clients through the drafting and reviewing of legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to residential property transactions.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Handling negotiations and resolving any legal issues that may arise during the conveyancing process.
- Working proactively with other fee earner and assistants across different practice areas to maximise on opportunities for cross-referrals and collaboration.
- Engaging with regional business development and networking opportunities, actively marketing yourself, your team and the firm to with key local introducers such as agents and wealth managers.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Maintaining excellent file administration standards with a strong understanding of the relevant compliance required in this highly regulated area of law.
- Maintaining your continuing professional development requirements, taking an active interest in furthering your knowledge within the field of law.
- Conducting legal research, seeking to stay updated on changes in property law and regulations.
