Are you a compassionate, down-to-earth person who enjoys helping others live life on their own terms? Airmid Staffing is on the lookout for Paediatric Nurses or Nurses with experience working with Children, managing a young persons short- and medium-term recovery from surgery. This is a package of care where you will be working 1:1.This is a unique opportunity to join a small, established support team, providing tailored one-to-one care that genuinely changes lives not just routines.About the Client:Our client is a young gentleman (15 years of age) with Cerebral Palsy, who will be recovering from invasive spinal surgery. His recovery, will be for a period of approximately 6 weeks, providing everything going as planned. We need someone who understands the possible challenges and setbacks of post-surgery recovery and you will need to be warm, kind, and communicative.Main duties of the job
  • Supporting a young gentleman with his recovery from spinal surgery
  • Monitoring his movement and pain management, to ensure he is comfortable, and pain is controlled
  • Work with the family, and the Airmid MDT to provide continuity and stability to this young person.
