Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentAbout the Opportunity:Meriton Associates is seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee industrial new build projects across the South of England. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in managing construction projects, particularly those involving steel frame structures, groundworks, and civil engineering components. You maybe asked to manage a project up to £5m individually or support a Project Manager on £10-15m project.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and quality control checks.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.
  • Manage procurement processes, including ordering materials and scheduling deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety documentation, and project logs.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in industrial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) are essential.
