As a Business Analyst, you will thoroughly develop, market profiles including new feature concepts or enhancements in support of the Go-to-Market strategy for our IP Management System IPfolio. You will then collaborate with Product Owners to deliver world-class business software to our client base.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsExcellent knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) or a legal background 5+ years (Paralegal, IP Operations, Business Analyst, etc.)Previous experience of working at law firmBachelor’s degree or relevant professional formative experienceA general business knowledge and/or coursework, plus a curiosity to continuously build that knowledgeAt least 5+ years using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Additional Relevant ExperiencePrior experience of working with an IPMS system within a law firm.Prior experience in SaaS-based system testing (Unit Testing, UAT etc.) and/or End User trainingCITMA or CIPA qualification preferredA business analysis qualification or proven experience would be an advantageLanguage – Native fluency in any other language is a plusBusiness analysis software packagesWhat will you be doing in this role?The Business Analyst will work with European-based law firm clients, in the first instance.Document market requirements and dynamics effectively and accurately, showing the difference between Country/regional Level Law Firms Assist the Product team in sizing market opportunity to inform future investment plansAnalyse customer win-loss data to inform feature or service developmentAssist the Product team with implementation workshops, including requirements gathering; workshop setup; analysis and problem resolutionAttend, and be an active participant in, internal and external meetings with regards to client implementation projectsAssist end users with software issues and escalate where appropriateWhat You Will Need to SucceedAbility to communicate and collaborate with customers and internal teams to analyse information needs and functional requirementsEffectiveness at documenting business process requirements using various methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysisAbility to assist with information analysis gathered from multiple sources, turn information into general understanding, and learn to distinguish between users wants and true needsAssist in the completion of workflow and functionality gap analysesAbility to coordinate with technical resources and subject matter experts to establish the end goal which may include trade-offs between usability and performanceAssist in coordinating business units, technology teams and support teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding communication, presentation and leadership skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsSharp analytical and problem-solving skillsCreative thinker with a visionAttention to detailsAbout the TeamThis role will report into the Senior Director of Product Management – IPfolio and will collaborate with technical Business Analysts, Product Managers/Owners in the teamWorking HoursFull-time, permanent role based out of our London or Belgrade office on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days per week in the office.At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all qualified persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
