
Senior FP&A Manager

- Provide insightful analysis and commentary to be used to challenge the business's performance, ensuring financial targets are met and that the performance is appropriately communicated
- Work closely with all departments across the business to understand key performance drivers and market conditions
- Lead the development of the detailed budget resulting from the strategic plan and ensure that the budget is completely and accurately recorded in the budgeting system
- Own the end to end processes and outputs for annual and in year Budget / Forecasting cycles. Ensure that complete and accurate forecasts are prepared for the business, with movements between iterations clearly communicated
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly returns to the Bank Central Finance team, including monthly financials and investor relation returns
- Lead the annual ICAAP process for the business unit, coordinating with appropriate stakeholders to form and evidence appropriate assumptions, as well as ensuring a timely and comprehensive submission that is approved by the Risk and Compliance Committee
- Empower, nurture and engage team members in an inclusive culture through coaching, mentoring and team-development in order to increase productivity performance.
- Work with the HR Business Partner to ensure that an effective performance review is operated, including setting objectives, personal development planning and performance standards with all direct reports.
- Evidence of taking ownership and ability to prioritise and deal with a wide range of business as usual activities at the same time to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to influence others.
- Confident in working with senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; for example, looking at large amounts of data to identify trends.
- Advanced MS Office packages, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items
- Highly motivated with a pro-active attitude towards work
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
- Excel modelling experience
- Strong systems experience including SAP
- Experience of the Financial Services or Automotive sectors
