Vision for Education are working with a client school in Oldham to appoint a Teaching Assistant.Full time/Part timeAbout the roleAs an engaging and caring Teaching Assistant you will provide educational support to students aged 11-16 years. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students within the classroom and may be required to support students in small groups or on a 1 to 1 basis. You will play a vital role in improving students learning outcomes and developing independent learning.A good level of Maths and English is required for this role.About the schoolThis school follows a wonderful ethos which focuses on community and creating a family atmosphere, where the child is valued and the importance of being a positive individual is very much one of the main focuses.   • Have a minimum of GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English
  • Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience of supporting young people in a similar role
