Are you an experienced Social Worker with a genuine passion for safeguarding adults?We are looking for someone to join our dedicated Adult Safeguarding Team in the Stockport, Greater Manchester area, where you will play a key role in protecting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.Benefits:

About the Role
  • Manage a complex caseload of safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014
  • Work within a supportive, established team of safeguarding professionals
  • Lead on safeguarding investigations, strategy meetings and protection planning
  • Collaborate with health, police, housing, and voluntary sector partners to ensure effective safeguarding interventions
  • Promote a strengths-based and person-centred approach to practice
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
  • Qualified Social Worker (DipSW, CQSW, Degree or equivalent)
  • Current registration with Social Work England
  • 2+ years qualifying experience within adult safeguarding or related statutory services
  • Ability to manage complex caseloads and apply safeguarding legislation confidently
  • Strong communication and partnership working skills
