We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and experienced SEND Welfare Assistant to join a supportive school community in Liverpool. Starting on 1st September 2025, this full-time role offers the potential for permanent employment and future career progression.Key Responsibilities:Provide pastoral and emotional support to pupils with SENDSupport pupils with their daily routines, personal care (if required), and well-beingMonitor and report on pupil welfare, behaviour, and progressWork closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to meet pupils’ needsHelp create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environmentRequirements:Relevant experience supporting children or young people with SEND (essential)A caring, calm, and resilient natureExcellent communication and teamwork skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding and welfare proceduresEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)Contract/Position Details:About ProsperoProud to be listed in the Times as one of 'The Best Companies To Work For', Prospero Teaching is an innovative and forward-thinking recruitment agency.
