Start Date: September 2025Are you passionate about education and eager to build a rewarding career in teaching?Teaching Personnel is working with a mainstream secondary school in Walsall to appoint a positive, reliable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support vulnerable pupils and children with special educational needs, while gaining valuable experience within a school environment.What you’ll be doing:Supporting the class teacher to ensure the smooth running of the classroomWorking with children on a one-to-one and small group basis, providing tailored support to enhance their learning and developmentDelivering targeted interventions to support pupils’ progressAssisting with administrative tasks, including organising resources for lessonsAdapting support to meet the changing needs of pupils each dayCollaborating with teachers to follow children’s Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where requiredSupporting children with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and behavioural challengesWho we’re looking for:Recent experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar support role within a school or education settingAspiring teachers keen to gain practical classroom experienceExperience working with children in any capacity (e.g., sports coaching, after-school clubs, volunteering)Genuine enthusiasm and passion for making a positive difference in educationRelevant Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent (desirable but not essential)Important details:Full-time, term-time only positionBased at a secondary school in WalsallStart date: September 2025If you’re ready to take the next step in your education career and make a real impact on young learners, we’d love to hear from you!Interested in This Role?If you're interested about this opportunity and meet the requirements, we’d love to hear from you!
