Join our crew as a Driver’s Mate and become an essential part of our Tanker & Jetting services.As Tanker and Jetting Labourer you will work closely with our professional HGV drivers, assisting with day-to-day operations to ensure the efficient delivery of jetting and tankering services. This is a hands-on role that involves physical work, problem-solving, and teamworkWhat you’ll be doing:
  • Assisting with the Operation of Tanker and Jetting vehicles as and when required by the Tanker Manager
  • Ensure all related Tanker and Jetting equipment is in a serviceable condition and report any fault or damage immediately or as soon as is reasonably practical to the Transport Manager and Tanker Manager
  • Carry out any action that is required to enable the equipment to be re-used without delay (e.g. emptying tanks, keep fuel topped up, AdBlue and lubricants topped up)
  • Ensure Jetting equipment is drained down and cleaned after use to prevent freezing and damage.
  • Ensure that the suction tanks are emptied and cleaned at the end of shift.
  • Assisting the Tanker Manager with his duties, general yard & Vehicle maintenance.
  • Carry out any relevant pre use checks and correctly report any abnormalities to the Transport Manager
  • Assist the Transport Manager with regards to any vehicle specific tasks, Servicing, MOT’s and repairs
  • Carry out safe and considerate operation duties of vehicles while ensuring you give clear and concise hand signals when acting as a banksman
What you’ll need to bring:
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Certifications in Jetting, Street Works, and Confined Spaces (desirable)
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
