Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:00pm, Friday finish 1:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeAbout the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for skilled or semi-skilled Bench Hand Joiners to join a busy manufacturing team in Leicester. The role focuses predominantly on door production, working within a well-established workshop environment.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out bench joinery work, primarily focusing on the production of doors.
- Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce high-quality work.
- Work to precise measurements and standards of finish.
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment in line with H&S regulations.
- Contribute to team productivity while taking pride in craftsmanship.
- Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or similar woodworking role.
- Competent in the use of woodworking machinery and both power/hand tools.
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.
- Semi-skilled candidates with relevant workshop experience will also be considered.
