As Engineering Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of building and fabric maintenance, managing both in-house teams and supply chain partners. You’ll be the key point of contact for client representatives and tenants, ensuring the estate is safe, compliant, and presented to the highest standards.🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and compliant operations in line with Atlas policies.
- Lead the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance across all FM products.
- Maintain accurate site documentation and compliance records (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Manage budgets, property revenues, and ensure timely authorisation and payment of commissioned works.
- Act as the primary liaison for customer service issues and operational queries.
- Foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and collaborate with commercial teams.
- Provide leadership and direction to the on-site team, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier performance, ensuring safety, continuity, and value for money.
- Maintain comprehensive records including meeting minutes, action plans, and service delivery notes.
- Support bidding for new contracts and on-site project changes.
- GCSE in English and Maths or Equivalent
- Accredited Health and Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely desirable
- Able to demonstrate a track record in property management and delivering FM services across an extensive and diverse property portfolio.
- Experience of working with and managing direct and outsourced service delivery teams.
- Financially aware with strong commercial focus applied within a large organisation.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of the issues surrounding the delivery of all FM services, including statutory requirements and applicable legislation, and the ability to verify and demonstrate performance through measurement, monitoring and auditing.
