- Planning, sourcing and producing communications material to bring our sustainability communications to life on our sustainability website, social media channels and internal communication channels.
- Planning, writing, and coordinating engaging internal communications to share news, initiatives, and updates across our locations.
- Engaging with the local good causes we support and helping to run the Lyle's Local Fund community grant programme.
- Supporting our school visit and work experience programme.
- Attending local business events and representing the company.
- Strong interest in sustainability and our local community in Newham.
- Ability to work with and in a variety of geographies and environments - including factories and offices.
- Basic written and oral communication skills, with a strong willingness to learn how to improve them.
- Enjoys and comfortable with engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
- Ability to work flexibly across our three locations in London - Thames Refinery, Plaistow and Bedford Street.
- Ideally some previous experience of working with communications or communications technology, such as creating short video for social media. But eagerness to get involved and learn is just as important.
