Job Title: Pump Service & Repairs EngineerLocation: Covering Multi-Site inside M25Salary: Competitive (Depending on Experience)Benefits: Door to Door, Company Van with Fuel Card (personal use too), Company pension, BUPA Healthcare (single cover) after 3 months, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), Progression Opportunities, £50 staying away allowanceHours: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday | 8.00am - 4.30pmOn call / Standby: 1 week in every 7/8Overtime Monday to Friday- Paid at 1.5x Hourly Rate for first 5 hours and then 2x Hourly Rate | Overtime Weekends- First 4 hours at 1.5x, then paid at 2x Hourly RateOvertime: Paid after 9 hours worked during weekOur client, a national leader in water boosting and pressurisation markets, are seeking a qualified service & repairs engineer to integrate into their team. The client specialises in the installation, commissioning, service, and repair of equipment from manufacturers on both clean and wastewater systems.Job Purpose:In your role as Service & Advanced Repairs Engineer you will provide all aspects of on-site servicing, repairs and installation works covering domestic and commercial contracts throughout the UK. On call duty and standby will be required on a rotary basis to allow for 24/7 service cover. You will report directly to the Service Manager.Key Accountabilities:
  • Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Experience with; Invertor drives, programming, control panels repair and programming, Printed Circuit Boards.
  • Knowledge of water control and hygiene
  • Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
  • Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
  • Actively be aware of opportunities to promote AGM Services
  • Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Perform advanced fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary
  • Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Plant Rooms knowledge desirable
  • Pump Knowledge Essential
  • Experience with; controls, wastewater, control systems and invertors
  • Control panels and controls knowledge desirable
  • Advanced fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Further Health and Safety training required for the role
  • Further product training as required
  • Installations of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
