The VacancyTravis Baker an RSK Group company are recruiting for a Senior Structural Technician to join the team based in Birmingham, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.Travis Baker was established in 2006 to provide a high quality service as professional consulting engineers. Since then the company has grown strongly and we are now able to provide a full range of integrated engineering services throughout the UK.Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Excel and other computerised design software
  • Supervising and mentoring less experienced Technicians
  • Liaison with clients and contractors
  • Managing the delivery of projects
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Excellent communications skills both verbally and written
  • IT literate
  • At least 5 years' experience detailing in constructions, with some experience detailing RC.
  • Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and other consultants
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
