£45,000 - £50,000We are looking for a User Experience Designer to join a growing in-house Design team. This is a hands-on design role where you'll transform insights from the Research team into engaging, user-friendly digital experiences. You'll play a key part in shaping interfaces and journeys that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business goals.The ideal candidate will bring 2-3 years' UX design experience in an in-house environment (not agency), a stable career track record, and the ability to think critically and communicate ideas clearly. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with UI Designers, UX Researchers, and Analysts to deliver effective design solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Translate user research and data insights into wireframes, prototypes, and final design solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers, UI Designers, and stakeholders to refine user journeys and workflows.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback.
  • Create design documentation to support development and implementation.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Present and explain design decisions to peers and stakeholders, demonstrating critical thinking and openness to feedback.
  • Contribute to design team discussions, supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 2-3 years' experience in a UX design role, ideally in an in-house environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects (concept through to implementation).
  • Solid knowledge of design principles, interaction design, and user-centred methodologies.
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to articulate design decisions.
  • Critical thinker - able to challenge assumptions
  • Stable employment history, with clear reasons for any short-term roles (contract, redundancy, etc.)
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with designers, researchers, and analysts.
