- To develop and maintain customer relationships to win business for Nationwide Platforms
- To identify and progress opportunities for new lines of business , including the identification of new growth sectors & customers, in accordance with the business development strategy
- To contribute to the budget process for the team.
- To manage a team of 'sector specialists' utilising measurement tools to ensure consistency and improving performance
- To oversee the regional sales team in progress of key 'mixed' accounts.
- To be the point of liaison between the UK Business Unit and BlueSky; to address delivery, new product, and supply, and any other BlueSky related issues, and to ensure these are communicated to the relevant person(s)
- To negotiate and manage (where applicable) contracts at all levels to the mutual benefit of Nationwide Platforms and the customer
- To work with and gain the co-operation and commitment of other Nationwide Platforms functions in support of business development
- To be responsible for the risk management of S.V key accounts
- Extensive experience of strategic sales management within a plant and/or equipment hire environment
- Excellent analytical ability and use of data to develop both tactical and strategic responses
- Ability to prioritise and maintain deadlines
- Excellent upward and downward communication skills with the ability to deliver easy and difficult messages with professionalism
