An exciting interim opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager has arisen at this fast-paced group as a result of growth and an increase in transactions work. Working with the Head of Tax, the role is extremely varied and looks after compliance and reporting across all areas of tax, as well as supporting on project work. Responsibilities include:
  • Finalise FY24 corporation tax computations for all UK entities
  • Partner with advisers to assess the group’s Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) position and ensuring tax modelling and forecasting accurately reflects available options
  • Work with external tax advisers to prepare current and deferred tax workings and become the key tax contact for the FY25 audit
  • Responsibility for reviewing monthly statutory filings, to include Group VAT returns and CIS returns
This is a broad and varied role that would suit someone that’s had exposure across corporate ta and VAT. They work very flexibly and typically come to their Central London office twice a week, the contract is for 6 months initially although likely to be extended due to the volume of projects and transactions within the business.
