Overview:General Operative – Injection Department
Location: Corby, UK
Pay: £12.30 per hour (increase to £12.60 upon successful completion of probation/standards and training)Shift allowance: £1.25 per hourShift - Nights (Monday to Thursday 10pm to 6am & Friday 5pm to 10:30pm)Full-time, Permanent | 37.5 hours per weekAre you hands-on, detail-oriented, and looking for a role in manufacturing?You will be responsible for the safe and efficient running of the machines, ensuring the parameters are set to the standard operating procedures. Carry out the duties associated with the manufacture, packing and inspection of the Ceramic CoreNo prior experience? No problem. We offer full training to develop your skills in a high-volume, quality-driven production environment. Responsibilities:What You’ll Do
  • Operate Small, Medium and Large injection moulding machines safely and correctly.
  • Complete necessary worksheets in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Process Instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised working environment.
  • Adhere to Company regulations, rule and procedures.
  • Highlight any machine maintenance, matrix/reformers/tooling and calibration concerns.
  • Report issues or defects to maintain production quality.
Safety & Organisation
  • Follow ‘think SAFE’ procedures and report any health and safety concerns.
  • Keep your work area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Be open to job rotation and support across various departments as needed.
Qualifications:What You’ll Bring
  • Good understanding of written and verbal English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (useful but not essential)
  • Willingness to learn new processes and jobs
