Teaching Personnel is seeking passionate and committed Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Romsey. We have a range of roles available—from day-to-day supply to long-term placements—ideal for those looking to gain experience, support children’s development, and become a valued part of a school community.Your Role Will Involve:Supporting teachers in delivering lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups, including those with special educational needs (SEN)Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environmentAssisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displaysSupporting pupils’ academic progress and emotional well-beingWe’re Looking For:Experience working with children in a school, childcare or community settingA caring, proactive, and patient approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA willingness to learn and support children of varying needs and abilitiesA DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through us)What Teaching Personnel Offers:Competitive hourly rate of £13.75, paid weeklyFlexible work that suits your schedule and preferencesAccess to CPD training and professional development via our online portal
