Job DescriptionWe are urgently seeking a reliable and efficient Van Delivery Driver to join our team in Aylesford, United Kingdom. As a crucial member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our valued customers in the local area and surrounding regions.
  • Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to various destinations
  • Load and unload packages with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
  • Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures upon completion
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and concerns professionally
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
  • Utilise digital tracking systems to update delivery status in real-time
Qualifications
  • Valid UK or EU driving licence (with 6 or less points on driving record)
  • Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of Aylesford and surrounding areas
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
  • Physical fitness to handle frequent lifting and carrying of packages
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Proficiency in using digital delivery tracking systems
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
