ibis Styles Glasgow Central isn’t your typical hotel. With bold design, quirky personality, and a buzzing atmosphere, it’s a city centre hub that reflects the vibrant energy of Glasgow itself. We’re now looking for a General Manager who can bring fresh leadership, commercial drive, and a people-first approach to take this hotel to the next level.Reporting directly to the RBH Operations Director, you’ll be the face of the property, shaping its identity, culture, and guest experience while ensuring commercial success. This role is about leading a team to create memorable stays, building strong community connections, and keeping the ibis Styles brand fun, modern, and relevant.What you’ll be doingDriving commercial performance with a strong focus on revenue growth, profitability, and market positioning.Leading, inspiring, and developing a diverse team to deliver standout guest experiences that feel fresh, stylish, and welcoming.Managing all areas of hotel operations – from F&B and rooms to compliance, budgets, and performance standards.Building a culture that celebrates creativity, individuality, and teamwork.Acting as an ambassador for ibis Styles within the local market, forging strong relationships with guests, partners, and the wider community.What we need from youProven experience in a senior hotel leadership role, ideally as General Manager or strong Deputy.Commercially sharp, with a track record of driving revenue and profit in a competitive market.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate teams to perform at their best.A natural communicator who thrives on building relationships, internally and externally.Energy, creativity, and the confidence to keep the brand’s playful spirit alive while ensuring operational excellence.The impact you’ll have
As General Manager, you’ll set the tone for the entire hotel. Your leadership will directly impact team engagement, guest satisfaction, and commercial success. You’ll have the autonomy to shape strategy, implement ideas, and build on the property’s strong reputation – all while being supported by RBH’s network of hospitality experts across the UK.The recruitment process
