- Develop and execute the internal audit plan to assess risks and controls.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies across the organisation.
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide detailed reports on audit findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate implementation of compliance measures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and governance processes.
- Support external audits by coordinating and providing required documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes relevant to the industrial and manufacturing sector.
- A professional qualification in accounting or audit (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in audit and compliance within a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in audit software and financial systems is desirable.
- Competitive salary in the range of £50,000 to £60,000, depending on experience.
