
Learning Support Assistant

- Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with their learning and personal development
- Adapt learning activities and meet individual needs
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to encourage engagement and confidence
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes
- Promote independence while offering guidance and reassurance
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or working with individuals with SEND is highly desirable
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different learning styles
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
- A DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
- Any manual handling training or experience is highly desirable
