- Provide technical leadership across a wide range of steelwork and structural engineering packages.
- Oversee steel connection design, live amendments, and complex site-stage engineering solutions.
- Lead and mentor engineers within the design and technical team.
- Work closely with fabrication and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure safe, efficient delivery.
- Contribute to developing in-house design capabilities, with opportunities to expand into full structural design and refurbishment projects in the future.
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Chartered status (CEng, MIStructE, or equivalent) preferred.
- Extensive experience in steelwork design, fabrication, welding, and site installation.
- Solid understanding of connection design, detailing, and temporary works.
- Ability to work in live construction environments, solving practical engineering problems.
- Leadership qualities with experience mentoring or managing junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across design, fabrication, and site teams.
