Location: BradfordI am seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organization in the packaging industry. This role offers a competitive salary reflecting experience, along with a bonus structure, generous holiday entitlement, and a pension plan.Salary & Benefits:
- Up to £55,000
- £2,000 annual bonus
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 3% pension scheme
- Monday to Friday
- Early Shift: 05:45 am - 14:15 pm
- Late Shift: 13:45 pm - 22:15 pm
- 40 hours per week with rotating early and late shifts
- Rarely any weekend work
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of packaging machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues with packaging equipment.
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing on various machinery.
- Conducting fault finding on electrical systems, including HMIs and control panels.
- Supporting commissioning of new machinery and conducting breakdown repairs.
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Strong multi skilled engineer with a electrical preference.
- Previous experience in the packaging industry or similar machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively with large machinery and complex systems.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
