As a Principal Waste Consultant, you’ll lead high-impact technical projects that contribute to the UK’s nuclear future. You’ll manage teams, guide technical delivery, and engage with stakeholders to provide safe, innovative, and high-quality waste management solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist advice and lead delivery across nuclear waste and decommissioning projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Support strategic bids and contribute to business development
- Supervise and mentor technical staff, with line management responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental permitting, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations
- Significant experience in nuclear waste management and strategic delivery
- Strong background in leading technical teams and mentoring staff
- Proven success in delivering decommissioning, disposability, or integrated waste strategy projects
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant science or engineering discipline
- Candidates must be eligible for Security Check (SC) clearance
