Job DescriptionSP, part of the ATS Group are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled European Applications Specialist to support and promote Genevac vacuum concentrator system across Europe, with a primary based in the UK/Germany or France, or a nearby country. There is also potential to support in Asia.This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in chemistry or life sciences, preferably holding a PhD, who is passionate about translating complex technical knowledge into practical solutions for customers. Additionally, this role requires regular trave to client sites, industry events, and internal meetings to provide subject matter expertise, support strategic initiatives and foster strong customer relationships.Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Genevac vacuum concentrator systems across the European region
  • Provide pre and post sales technical support to customers, distributors and internal sales team
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions and technical seminars
  • Collaborate with R&D and product management to relay customer feedback and contribute to product development
  • Assist in developing application notes, white papers and technical marketing materials
  • Attend and present at industry conferences, trade shows and customer meetings
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of market trends, competitor products and emerging technologies
Additional InformationQualifications
  • PhD in Chemsitry, Biochemistry, Analytical Sciences or a related field (Masters degree with significant experience may be considered)
  • Hands on experience with vacuum concentrators, rotary evaporators or similar laboratory instrumentation
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English, addtional European languages are a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 50%)
  • Based in the UK, France, Germany or neighbouring RU country with easy access to major transportation hubs
Preferred Atributes
  • Experience in technical sales or customer facing roles
  • Familiarity with sample preparation workflows in pharmaceutical, biotech or academic research settings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functions international team
