KS1 Teaching Assistant - Wokingham - September StartDo you have personal or professional experience working with children in Year 1 or Year 2?Are you looking to help and support SEN children in KS1?An outstanding school in Wokingham is looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their time and have a key role supporting children within the classroom. As a KS1 Teaching Assistant you will run interventions in phonics and spellings in the afternoons, which the school will provide training for you to carry out. Key responsibilities as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
  • Support in the classroom during lessons and with behaviour management
  • Run tailored interventions in phonics and spellings
  • Provide extra support for children with special educational needs
  • Work alongside the teacher to create and adapt learning resources
  • Record and monitor children's progression in the interventions
What the school are looking for in a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
  • Professional or personal experience with children
  • Desirable if you have experience with children with SEN, ASD or ADHD
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the classroom
