Exciting Opportunity: Flexible Cover Supervisor – Winchester, Hampshire!
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience?GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across a variety of secondary schools in Winchester. Starting this September 2025, this flexible role offers the chance to support students’ learning while developing your own skills in a dynamic school environment.About the RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher. You’ll manage classroom behaviour, deliver pre-set work, and ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout the day.Your responsibilities as Cover Supervisor will include:
  • Supervising classes during teacher absences and ensuring a productive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with their work and encouraging positive behaviour.
  • Collaborating with school staff to uphold high standards of education and conduct.
  • Choosing your own working days – with up to 5 days per week available.
