Start Date: September 2025Are you passionate about helping children thrive in their early years of education? A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Cowbridge is looking to appoint multiple enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils and staff in delivering high-quality education.About the Role:Working across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 1, you will support class teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment. You’ll play a key part in helping pupils reach their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.Key Responsibilities:Assist the teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessonsSupport pupils in small groups or on a one-to-one basisHelp manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes to learningPrepare and organise learning materials and classroom resourcesProvide pastoral care and emotional support where neededSupport children with additional learning needs (where applicable)✅ What We’re Looking For:Experience working with primary-aged children (school or nursery setting)A nurturing, patient, and encouraging attitudeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a team and take initiativeA valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)Desirable (but not essential):Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualificationExperience supporting children with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)Familiarity with the Welsh Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 curriculumWelsh language skills are an advantage but not essentialWhat We Offer:A supportive and friendly school communityThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact in pupils’ livesOngoing professional development and training opportunitiesA beautiful working environment in the heart of the Vale of GlamorganApplication Deadline: 23rd August 2025All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
