Job DescriptionA leading broadcast & film production manufacturing organisation is looking to hire an Electronic Design Engineer to join their established team.What You'll Be Doing:As Electronic Design Engineer you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and testing complex electronic system, from circuit-level design to PCB layout and compliance testing. Working alongside a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you'll help bring next-generation products from concept through production, supporting the full product lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to new product introduction and the continuous improvement of existing systems.Key Responsibilities Include:Creating and capturing electronic circuit designs and schematicsDesigning PCB layouts and preparing manufacturing-ready filesProgramming components to meet performance requirementsTesting and troubleshooting down to component levelSupporting EMC and safety compliance testing to international standardsCollaborating with third-party manufacturers and engineering partnersDocumenting your designs and maintaining a robust parts libraryContributing to product specifications and development plansWhat You BringEssential Skills:Strong background in analog and digital circuit designExperience with microprocessors and programmable logicProficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., PADs, Mentor Graphics)Excellent analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting abilitiesComfortable working under deadlines and collaborating with global teamsWho You AreYou hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field, with a solid foundation in designing reliable, scalable electronics systems. You're detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines and geographies, and you're always looking to refine and improve the tools and technologies you work with.Work Environment & FlexibilityWhile primarily based in the UK, this role is part of a global engineering team, so flexibility is built into the role to support collaboration across time zones.
