Insolvency AssistantWe are searching for an experienced Insolvency AssistantMake an Impact at RSM UKConsulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM's current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.An exciting opportunity to work within Restructuring in the Corporate Simplification National Team. The role will provide you with the opportunity to develop your advisory and Members Voluntary Liquidation (“MVL”) skills and to be part of a national team improving processes and working nationally. MVL experience preferred but not essential.You'll make an impact by:
  • Assisting and supporting the National Corporate Simplification team.
  • Preparing engagement letters and ancillary documents.
  • Preparing statutory documentation for our appointment as liquidators.
  • Preparing letters and reports for shareholders and other stakeholders.
  • Producing letters to creditors' employees etc.
  • Corresponding and liaising with HMRC to obtain tax clearance to close cases.
  • Inputting data onto the internal systems, IPS and Virtual Cabinet.

  • MVL experience preferred but not essential as there are opportunities to develop skills in this area.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills essential.
