- Measure engineering components to drawings and technical specifications.
- Review supplier's paperwork to ensure parts meet specifications and create ISIR/FAI packs.
- Raise Supplier Corrective Actions Reports (SCAR) via our internal Incident Management
- Release product to production via the MRP system.
- Quarantine non-conforming products.
- Raising claims using the MRP system and coordinating the return of non-conforming products to suppliers via liaising with purchasing.
- Stock check when required as part of containment action.
- Random outgoing product inspection & report to Quality
- Liaise with Customers/Suppliers regarding rejects or quality issues.
- Maintain & improve 5S standard in Quality Quarantine area & Inspection area.
- HND, or an Equivalent Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Proficient with using a multitude of test and precision measuring equipment, as well as manual hand tools such as torque wrenches, micrometer, Vernier caliper, etc.
- IT literate and conversant with Microsoft Office (Excel& Word)
