ICT Teacher
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
Start Date: September 2025GSL Education are currently looking for dynamic and enthusiastic ICT Teachers specialising in teaching Secondary students in York, North Yorkshire, starting in September 2025.ICT Teacher Requirements:
  • Hold QTS with a degree in ICT, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching ICT at Key Stage 3 level, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the ICT curriculum, including key concepts such as digital literacy, coding, online safety, and the ethical use of technology.
  • Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply a for a new one through GSL Education.
ICT Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • Develop students' ICT skills, including digital literacy, coding, multimedia production, and data handling.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Integrate various forms of technology into lessons to enhance learning experiences and help students develop a strong understanding of ICT concepts and applications.
