We are looking to employ a dynamic and motivated nurse to join our friendly team at Filey Surgery. Experience of General Practice Nursing is preferred however we would consider a newly qualified nurse. We are a teaching and a training practice and encourage development of all our staff. The working pattern for the role will be 25 - 28 hours over 3 days.Main duties of the jobThe practice nurse is tasked with delivering nursing services and works as a member of the practice's multidisciplinary team, providing care within their scope to the designated patient population. There may be on occasion a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent on factors such as workload and staffing levels:a. Develop, implement and embed health promotion and well-being programmesb. Implement and evaluate individual treatment plans for chronic disease patientsc. Identify, manage and support patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects on patients healthd.
