Working Hours: 3 hours paid + 15 minutes unpaid break per sessionAbout the Role - Year 3 1:1 SEN Teaching AssistantWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil in our friendly primary school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in special educational needs support while making a real difference to a child's educational journey.Working exclusively during morning sessions, you'll provide tailored one-to-one support to help your assigned pupil access the curriculum and develop their learning skills in a supportive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 3 pupil with special educational needs
- Assist with curriculum access and learning activities under teacher guidance
- Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development
- Help implement individualized learning strategies and interventions
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
- Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and achievements
- Foster independence and confidence in learning
- Support behavioural management strategies as needed
- Availability Monday-Friday mornings during term time is non-negotiable
- Genuine interest in supporting children with special educational needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS clearance (essential)

- Undergraduate students studying Psychology or Education who want to gain practical experience
