- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and growth
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
- Assisting with nappy changes and maintaining high standards of hygiene
- Preparing and sterilising bottles, and feeding the baby as required
- Supporting the child's sleep routine, including settling for naps and bedtime
- Bathing and dressing the baby appropriately for the weather and planned activities
- Monitoring developmental milestones and updating parents on progress or concerns
- Encouraging early learning through sensory play, music, and age-appropriate games
- Reading books regularly to support language development and bonding
- Keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Washing, drying, and folding the child's clothes and linens
- Organising the child's wardrobe, including rotating seasonal clothing
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the child's age and needs
- Carrying out general housekeeping tasks related to the child
