There really is something for everyone here.EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWAs a Field Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater systems across multiple sites, identifying faults, and ensuring effective solutions. You'll play a key role in customer service, helping to build strong relationships and maintain satisfaction.Some of your key accountabilities will be:
  • Undertaking day to day operations of water and wastewater assets to defined internal quality standards.
  • To fault-find, install, repair, inspect, replace and maintain aspects of fixed plant and equipment as requested to ensure it functions in a safe and effective manner.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on work to maintain up-to-date information and status of any allocated work.
  • Maintain level of professional expertise to ensure ability is held to repair/maintain a wide range and types of plant/equipment.
  • Respond to asset failures across numerous sites and undertake immediate fault diagnosis and determine rectification requirements to restore service of the asset
  • Identify appropriate spares needed for effective repair/maintenance of equipment dependent based upon purchasing guidelines.
  • Exercise judgments on equipment spend to ensure the appropriate and safe repair is balanced with the requirement to maximize cost effectiveness. Provide feedback and judgment of asset conditions to assist with ongoing maintenance of assets.
This role dictates that you start from home and work across your allocated region so a full UK driving licence is essential.WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLEOf course, it's important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.No experience is required as full training will be provided.
