- Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of employment law, including but not limited to employment contracts, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and employee benefits.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive advice to clients.
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings before government agencies and in litigation matters related to employment disputes.
- Collaborate with HR professionals and management teams to develop and implement employment policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Participate in alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and arbitration, to resolve employment disputes efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Maintain accurate and organised legal files and documentation related to employment matters.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments related to employment law through continuing education and professional development activities.
- 3 PQE
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
- Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents
