- Developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Building positive relationships with children and families.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and young people in a residential setting.
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts (days, waking nights, sleep-ins).
- Willingness to work across multiple residential homes.
- A relevant qualification in childcare or social work is desirable but not essential.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.***
