We are looking for a Welder to join our client based in Storrington area on a temp to perm basis. Our client is a world leading engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of high-precision electromagnetic devices for the science and healthcare sectors.You will be carry out welding on aluminium and stainless steel and complete your work to a high standard.You will ideally be qualified to BN EN 287 standards and certified to PED and PD 5500 Pressure Vessel requirements although this is not essential.Responsibilities:

Assemble and weld metal components based on blueprints and specifications
Use welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding to join metal parts
Perform basic maths calculations to measure and cut materials accurately
Inspect welded joints and ensure they meet quality standards
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Experience:

Previous experience as a welder (specifically stainless steel and aluminium) is required
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques
Ability to operate welding equipment and tools effectively
Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
