- Take ownership of a designated geographical portfolio.
- Collaborate internally with teams, including Asset Planners, Operations, and Major Projects.
- Engage externally with Local Planning Authorities, Environment Agencies, and product manufacturers.
- Build strong relationships with major developers, global consultancies, small developers, and contractors.
- Work directly with customers to ensure successful adoption processes
- It's envisaged the appointed Adoptions Engineer will hold a Civil Engineering degree and or equivalent and will have previous working experience in a similar position.
- You'll be a strong communicator at all levels both written and verbal with competent IT skills, able to liaise and negotiate where applicable.
- With both Code for Adoptions and DMeX as our team's key performance indicators, you will deliver the customer promise by exceeding expectations for the statutory timescales, being an efficient and professional communicator, keeping the developer well-informed throughout the process and building strong relationships for improved customer satisfaction overall.
- Planning, estimating and financial forecasting skills.
- You'll build expertise in sewerage policy and legislation and will be fully up-to-date and knowledgeable on the most recent code of practice 'Code for Adoptions', including the Design and Construction Guidance and associated service level agreements and WaterUK metrics and will be responsible for meeting the sewer vesting targets each year.
- Offering a salary between £41,000 - £60,000 per annum,depending on knowledge and experience.
- 26 days of holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (plus bank holidays)
