This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking about physical and human geography.As a Geography Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encouraging pupils to develop geographical skills through varied teaching methods and resources.
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to promote pupil wellbeing.
- Contributing to the wider school life, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching Geography across Key Stages.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography.
- Possess strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate teaching.
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide a full, 10-year career history (CV) with any gaps explained.
