Job Description:Managing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast-paced dynamic business critical category, you'll support the sourcing, procurement, contract assurance, implementation and post-contract management activities. You will co-ordinate end-to-end procurement management with a focus on Supplier Relationship Management and Sustainability. You'll be responsible for delivery of contract assurance services including best practice principles in respect of the formation and administration of contracts and monitoring of contract compliance within internal governance/audit frameworks.You'll support the creation and delivery of pre-contracting strategies, supplier negotiations, drafting and executing Goods & Services Framework Agreements, Work Packages and Standalone Agreements; making contractual amendments and supporting the Procurement governance process. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll drive value for Heathrow to maximise delivery, minimise risk, delivery of benefits to the organisation through cost saving, fostering supplier relationships and improved airport operations.Responsibilities:
  • Placement and management of robust contractual documentation including drafting and negotiation, liaising with contract and legal departments, contract assurance and support services including the delivery of all centralised contract amendments
  • Maintaining well-informed effective category plans and developing innovative strategies which will be presented to relevant senior stakeholders, using creative commercial models, market leading technology and trends that will drive regulatory compliance and a competitive edge for the business
  • Constructively challenging business plans and strategy documents to ensure robustness of approach that maximises commercial opportunity and mitigates risk.
  • Executing sourcing activity including valid evaluation criteria and methods which meet the obligations required by competition law, so Heathrow is a fair procurer of goods and services
  • Maintaining agreed processes for supplier management, claims management, benefits and savings and continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, regulatory, risk-reward and exit strategy requirements
  • Managing and owning the SRM process for key stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Data analytics for supplier performance, spend and contractual compliance
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models and environments using a range of reimbursement models
  • Experience delivering multiple projects to meet business affordability targets and achievement of Key Performance Indicators through strong Supplier & Stakeholder Relationship Management
  • Demonstrable Contract and Supplier Management Experience
Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Working knowledge of Aviation and associated supply chain(s)
  • Understanding of a complex airport operation with an appreciation for its interdependencies across the organisation representing Procurement
  • Experience with contractual documentation including bespoke contracts, NEC based or similar industry standard contracts and relevant negotiation and drafting
  • Working towards professional qualifications e.g.CIPS or willingness to commit to pursuing development and training
