
Non-Destructive Testing Engineer (Technical Services - NDT)

- Conduct NDT inspections on pressure equipment (boilers, vessels, heat exchangers, pipework) to meet regulatory and customer standards.
- Perform NDT on new items per relevant codes and standards.
- Carry out remote visual inspections for the Inspection Services team.
- Support training and development of colleagues.
- Coordinate and schedule inspections, communicate results, build client relationships, and identify business opportunities.
- Comprehensive training to advance NDT qualifications (e.g., SAFed Shell Boiler, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic Forgings).
- Support towards IEng registration with the Engineering Council.
- Opportunities for further development in repair verification and examination of new pressure equipment.
- PCN Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing of Welds (3.1, 3.2, 3.8 with 3.8 held for at least 2 years)
- PCN Level 2 Magnetic Particle Testing
- PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Testing
- PCN/CSWIP Welding Inspector
- Additional PCN Level 2 certificates (e.g., Welds 3.9, Forgings, Eddy Current)
- BINDT Shell Boiler
- ONC/HNC in Engineering
- At least Eng Tech Engineering Council registration
- Demonstrates integrity and impartiality
