A respected and long-established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Grantham team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload, work within a collaborative environment, and build strong relationships with clients and local property professionals.The Role
You will be responsible for managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from start to finish, ensuring exceptional client service throughout. The position will cover a range of transactions including standard residential sales and purchases, new build matters, and plot purchases.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactionsGenerate new business and convert enquiries into instructionsConduct and review necessary property searchesDeal with plot purchases and new build conveyancing mattersLiaise effectively with clients, estate agents, developers, and other partiesProduce standard contract documentationIdentify cross-selling opportunities for other legal servicesManage enquiries, exchanges, completions, and all post-completion tasks including SDLT submissions and Companies House filingsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with proceduresAchieve agreed fee income and performance targetsStay informed of legal developments in conveyancing and maintain skills through ongoing trainingPerson SpecificationEssentialExperienced Conveyancer with a strong track record in residential property transactionsSound knowledge of the conveyancing process, Money Laundering Regulations, and Solicitors Accounts RulesConfident in managing matters from instruction to completionExcellent organisational, communication, and client care skillsIT literate with experience using case management systemsAble to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesTeam-oriented with a proactive approachDesirableLegal Executive or Solicitor qualificationExperience with plot purchases and new build transactionsPrevious use of SOS Connect case management softwareBenefits
