Job Title: Healthcare/ Administration Assistant Hours: 37hrs per week. Monday- Sunday as per local rota, varying shift pattern. Location: Birmingham Upright MRI InHealth Upright MRI is the largest established operator of upright and open MRI technology in the United Kingdom. We were the first provider to offer this alternative form of medical imaging to the general public which allows claustrophobic patients and those who cannot undertake conventional MRI imaging to undergo the scans they require. We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Upright team in Birmingham and contribute further to making healthcare better for more patients. This is a role that combines both a healthcare assistant role and an administration role, allowing for diversity in your role.Main duties of the jobWelcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable) Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system Managing administrative tasks within the department as required. Dealing with telephone and direct enquiries in a prompt and effective manner, ensuring the provision of information and prioritisation of queries as appropriate Booking clinically validated appointments on the internal system Ensuring all payments are invoiced promptly and accurately and that payments are taken on the day Tracking and distributing Imaging data and reports as required. Utilising relevant IT systems to support the delivery of a high-quality Imaging Service Assist with monthly reports Complying with ISO standards, respecting and protecting confidentiality Reporting any incidents, feedback or complaints effectively Ensuring patient and customer focus is central to the commercial success of the business.About usInHealth is the UKs largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions.
