
Finance Assistant

- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and post monthly accruals and prepayments
- Post month-end journals including depreciation, stock movements, and internal recharges
- Monitor and reconcile inventory, including reporting
- Process supplier invoices, payments, and purchase orders
- Support the maintenance of costing records for raw materials and finished goods
- Process and monitor employee expenses
- Assist with VAT return preparation
- Perform cashbook postings and bank reconciliations
- Produce daily cashflow reporting
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
- Part-qualified AAT (or similar) - study support available
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently
- Ambitious and eager to grow within a fast-paced, evolving business
